Century Initiative was excited to host the first event launching its new report For a Bigger Bolder Canada on October 24, 2019 in Toronto, ON. The dinner hosted 48 guests, including the Hon. Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, and featured a keynote speech by Mark Wiseman, former CEO of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and global head of activities at BlackRock.
The audience had the opportunity to hear some special remarks from Minister Hussen, and were engaged in a Q & A facilitated by Goldy Hyer, President and CEO of the Business Council of Canada. Century Initiative had the opportunity to outline the 10 recommendations included in the report and debuted the video produced by CI explaining what’s at stake for Canada leading up to 2100.
